Petty Officer Jon T. Tumilson, a Navy SEAL serving in Afghanistan, was killed earlier this month in a helicopter crash.

Tumilson was laid to rest last Friday in Rockford, Iowa where over 1,500 mourners came to pay their respects for the fallen Navy SEAL, including his dog Hawkeye.

Hawkeye’s loyalty for his owner truly showed at the funeral when he walked to front and laid down next to the casket for the entire service.

Such a heart wrenching and touching photo.
